Profile of Prof. (Dr.) Sudha Summarwar
Prof. (Dr.) Sudha Summarwar presently serves as the State Coordinator of the Microbiologists Society, India (Rajasthan Unit) and as the Director & CEO of the Purvi Fisheries Research Center. With over 16 years of rich academic and research experience, her expertise encompasses oxidative stress, haematology in Indian major carps, molecular identification, and phylogenetic relationships in fishes.
She has earned multiple prestigious qualifications, including D.Sc., Post-Doctorate, UGC Women Fellowship, Ph.D., and M.Phil. Dr. Summarwar has made remarkable scholarly contributions through numerous publications in national and international journals, authorship of books, five national and international patents, and one copyright.
Her professional affiliations include being a Fellow of the International Congress of Chemistry and Environment (FICCE), Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Zoology Studies, and Advisory Board Member at Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan) as well as for Environmental Toxicology at IFFCO.
Her achievements have been widely recognized with prestigious honors such as the Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Gold Medal Award (Bangalore), the Outstanding Scientist Award (Puducherry, India), and the Senior Innovator Award (Manipal University College, Malaysia).
