Editorial Submission Guidelines
1. Manuscript Types
IJLEES accepts the following categories:
- Original Research Articles (1,000–4,000 words)
- Review Articles (2,000–6,000 words)
- Short Communications / Technical Notes (1,000–2000 words)
- Case Studies / Reports (1,500–5,000 words)
2. Manuscript Structure
- Title Page o Title (clear and concise)
- Abstract & Keywords o Abstract: 150–300 words, structured if necessary.

Main Text (depending on article type):
- Acknowledgements (if any)
- Conflict of Interest & Funding Disclosure
- References (APA 7th edition or journal’s chosen style)
- Figures and Tables (embedded in the manuscript or submitted as separate files).
o Author names and affiliations
o Corresponding author details
o Keywords: 4–6 keywords for indexing.
o Materials and Methods / Methodology
o Results
o Discussion
o Conclusion
3. Referencing Style
- IJLEES follows APA 7th edition.
- References should be cited in-text as (Author, Year) and listed alphabetically in the References section.
- Use DOI links wherever available. Example:
- In-text: (Patra & Sharma, 2023)
- Reference list: Patra, N. R., & Sharma, J. K. (2023). Ground improvement using geosynthetics. Journal of Sustainable Engineering, 12(3), 245–260. https://doi.org/xx.xxxx/xxxxx
4. Figures and Tables
The journal accepts the following contributions:
- All figures must be high resolution (≥300 dpi).
- Tables should be editable (not images).
- Each figure/table must have a clear caption and be cited in the text.
5. Submission Process
- Manuscripts should be submitted via email to submission.ijlees@gmail.com
- A cover letter must be included, briefly stating: o Article type
o Novelty and significance of the work
o Confirmation that the manuscript is original and not under review elsewhere.
6. Review and Decision
- All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review.
- Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewers’ comments.
- The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
7. Publication Fees
- IJLEES follows an open access model. Article Processing Charge (APC) are given below
- 1500 INR per article- For Indian Authors
- $50 USD per article- For Foreign Authors
8. Post-Acceptance
- Accepted manuscripts will be copyedited and formatted by the editorial office.
- Proofs will be sent to authors for approval before final publication.
Conclusion: The author should conclude his/her finding accordingly.
Acknowledgement (if any): This section can be kept at the end of the manuscript before the reference section. This section can be used to acknowledge the help of those who do not qualify for authorship or to acknowledge funding, donated resources or significant contribution to the research. References: Cited in the manuscript should be numbered in order of appearance in the manuscript and cited in the text with superscript numbers as mentioned above. The reference number should follow the following format.
- For Journals Format: Author(s) of article (surname initials). Title of the manuscript, Journal title abbreviated Year of publication; volume number (issue number): page numbers.
- Standard journal article format: (If more than six authors, the first six shall be listed followed by et al.)
- Example: Hinja SL, Nadeem B, Ali DE, Mandela GW, Georg OT, Rashik KE et al. Nonsteroidal Ant-iinflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). Perfect Journal of Pharmacology 1997; 7(1):5-12.
- For Books Format: Author AB, Author BB, Author CC. Title of Book. Ed, Vol, Publisher, City, year, page numbers.
- Example: Flenski GV. The Zoology Fans. Edn 8, Vol. 4, Perfect Publication, Ghana, 1952, 28-86.
- For Patent Reference: F. Dev, W. Larry, J. Marks and S. Bergs. The Zoolo Right, Paris. Patent PA 4105798; 2001.
